Contemporary Grey Fabric Round Lounge Chair

This contemporary lounge chair is a SketchUp model featuring a circular upholstered seat and a slim black metal frame. Defined by its minimalist circular footprint, this contemporary lounge chair features a thick, drum-style upholstered seat and a low-profile, curved backrest. The upholstery is a textured, neutral grey fabric that provides a soft tactile contrast to the structural elements. A slender, black-finished metal frame supports the backrest and wraps around the base, maintaining an open and airy aesthetic despite the substantial volume of the seating cushion. The design prioritises clean lines and geometric simplicity, making it an ideal accent piece for modern interiors requiring a compact yet comfortable seating solution.

The download is an 11.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised with logical grouping to facilitate easy selection and material application. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly within their project environment before final placement. The fabric texture is mapped to the cylindrical and curved surfaces, allowing for further customisation or substitution with high-resolution PBR materials if required. The lightweight geometry ensures smooth performance in larger interior scenes, while the simple silhouette allows for efficient lighting setup using standard render engine light sources or environmental HDRIs.
