About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a low-profile modular grey fabric design paired with a sleek integrated side table. Defined by its low-slung, rectilinear silhouette, this modular sofa prioritises a relaxed, lounge-focused aesthetic. The upholstery is a textured grey fabric, providing a tactile, neutral finish that integrates easily into various interiors. The arrangement includes a main seating section with a backrest and an adjacent chaise-style module, both featuring deep, plush proportions. Complementing the seating is a slim, minimalist metal side table with a circular top, perfectly scaled to sit flush against the sofa frame. Two decorative cushions in a contrasting ribbed fabric add subtle texture to the overall composition.

The download is a 38.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy management, allowing users to quickly toggle the decorative cushions or the side table independently. The fabric textures are mapped with high-resolution tiling, ensuring crisp detail in close-up shots. Users should place the assembly into their scene and adjust the pivot points to align with floor levels. Standard material editors can be used to tweak the fabric's reflection or bump values to match specific lighting setups within the project file.

This modular sofa is an ideal selection for modern living rooms, open-plan apartments, and upscale hotel lobby lounges where a clean, horizontal aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with large-scale area rugs, floor lamps, and minimalist coffee tables. Professionals looking for versatile seating arrangements for residential staging or contemporary commercial projects will find this asset particularly useful.
