Contemporary Grey Fabric Modular Sofa Living Room Scene in Black

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a modular grey fabric sofa, two coffee tables, a floor lamp, and a rug. This comprehensive furniture arrangement centres on a low-profile modular sofa upholstered in a light grey mottled fabric. The configuration integrates a black side table extension at one end, creating a sleek horizontal line. The ensemble is completed by two distinct coffee tables: one rectangular with a dark timber top and angular metal legs, and a circular glass-topped table with a pedestal base. A tall, arched floor lamp with a black drum shade and a textured white base provides vertical interest. The entire composition is grounded by a large, neutral-toned striped area rug.

The download is a 142 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this scene into a SketchUp project, treat the collection as a single component or group for easy placement. If individual items are required for alternative layouts, explode the main container to access the nested blocks. Ensure the material textures are correctly mapped by checking the face orientations. The model is scaled to standard residential proportions, allowing for quick insertion into floor plans or interior elevations. Use the provided layers to toggle the visibility of auxiliary decor items like the fruit bowl or books.

Ideal for residential interior design visualisations, this set works well in open-plan living areas, modern apartments, or high-end lounge spaces. It provides a ready-made focal point for staging mock-ups during the concept development phase. Professionals can use this asset to quickly populate architectural renders, pairing it with minimalist wall treatments or large-format glazing. Search for this item when looking for complete furniture vignettes, modular seating arrangements, or contemporary living room compositions that offer a cohesive, ready-to-render aesthetic for client presentations.
