About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric modular sectional sofa SketchUp model offers a versatile, low-profile seating arrangement for modern interiors. Comprising seven distinct components, this modular sofa set features a low-slung, blocky aesthetic typical of contemporary lounge furniture. The arrangement includes various seating sections, a corner unit, and a square ottoman, all upholstered in a textured grey fabric that suggests a linen or synthetic weave. The design prioritises comfort with deep seats and thick, square-edged cushions. Included are several accent cushions in tonal grey and contrasting tan, which provide visual warmth and break up the monochromatic grey palette. The overall form is clean and geometric, making it highly adaptable for diverse spatial configurations.

The download is a 12.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised as a series of modular components, allowing for easy rearrangement or customisation of the layout to suit specific floor plans. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for easy toggling. Textures are applied to the fabric surfaces, which can be scaled or replaced using the material editor. Given the modular nature, individual units can be grouped or ungrouped to optimise the viewport performance in more complex interior scenes.

This sectional is ideal for large, open-plan living rooms, contemporary residential lounges, or high-end hotel lobby seating areas where flexibility is required. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, low-profile media units, and neutral area rugs. Designers looking for a relaxed, comfortable aesthetic will find this set useful for creating inviting conversation zones.
