About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a grey fabric L-shaped sectional with a matching coffee table and circular rug. This contemporary lounge set centres on a low-profile, L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in a neutral grey fabric. The modular design incorporates a chaise lounge and a clean-lined backrest. Accompanying the seating is a black, circular metal coffee table with a slender cross-base, topped with minimal decor. A large, dark grey circular rug grounds the composition. The ensemble is accessorised with a collection of scatter cushions in contrasting white and charcoal tones, plus a draped throw blanket, providing a balanced, layered aesthetic suitable for modern open-plan living environments or hospitality lounges.

The download is a 108 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The 3ds Max model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and material assignment. Users can manipulate the modular sofa components independently or scale the entire set to fit specific floor plans. Textures are mapped to ensure realistic fabric grain and metal reflections. When integrating into a scene, ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the floor level for efficient placement within your interior master files, and apply standard architectural lighting to highlight the fabric depth.

Ideal for residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, and hotel lobby lounge areas, this set provides a cohesive look for staging projects. It pairs well with minimalist architectural finishes, such as polished concrete or engineered timber flooring. Architects and interior designers frequently search for this type of modular seating to define conversational zones in open-concept layouts. The neutral palette ensures versatility, making it a reliable asset for high-quality architectural visualisations requiring a clean, professional finish in a variety of contemporary design schemes.
