About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max living room set features a grey fabric L-shaped sectional sofa, a matching armchair, and two coffee tables. This comprehensive lounge set centres around a deep-seated, L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in a neutral grey fabric. The modular composition includes multiple back cushions and a selection of decorative throw pillows in varied textures and muted tones. Accompanying the sofa is a mid-century inspired armchair featuring a warm-toned wooden frame and upholstered seat. The grouping is completed by a pair of circular coffee tables: one with a rustic, natural wood grain finish and a smaller, contrasting side table with a dark, textured base. The ensemble creates a balanced, layered aesthetic.

The download is a 103 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised for easy integration into interior scenes. Users can merge the group into a master file as a single entity or ungroup the components to adjust the arrangement. The materials are pre-assigned, requiring standard mapping adjustments if scales are modified. Lighting should be set up to highlight the fabric textures and wood grain, ideally using an HDRI for soft, realistic shadows that ground the furniture within the room environment.

Ideal for residential living room designs, high-end apartment staging, and hotel lounge areas, this set offers a cohesive look for contemporary interiors. It pairs well with minimalist decor, textured rugs, and warm ambient lighting. Professionals searching for lounge furniture, modular seating arrangements, or complete living area layouts will find this collection versatile for various floor plans. The neutral palette ensures compatibility with a wide range of wall colours and flooring materials, making it a reliable choice for fast-paced design projects.
