About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric L-shaped sectional sofa set for 3ds Max features a modular design with matching glass coffee tables. This sectional sofa set comprises a large L-shaped configuration with a deep chaise lounge, upholstered in a textured grey fabric. The piece is accented with several scatter cushions in varying tones of grey and brown. Accompanying the seating are two circular nested coffee tables, each featuring a clear glass top supported by a dark, cylindrical metal base. The set is presented on a textured, mottled grey area rug that anchors the composition. The modular construction provides a clean, linear aesthetic, suitable for spacious modern interiors requiring a central focal point for lounge areas.

The download is a 19.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cushions and table elements. Users can apply custom fabric textures to the upholstery using standard material editors, while the glass surfaces are ready for ray-traced reflections. The set is scaled to real-world units, allowing for quick placement within an interior scene. Ensure proper light mapping for the glass components to achieve realistic transparency and light refraction within the chosen render engine environment.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and upscale lounge suites, this sectional set offers a versatile seating solution. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall treatments, metal-framed floor lamps, and neutral-toned interior palettes. Search for this asset when specifying furniture for open-plan apartments, executive reception areas, or contemporary hospitality projects where comfort and scale are paramount.
