About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features four seats upholstered in light grey fabric, complemented by a set of layered accent cushions. This four-seater sofa presents a clean, linear silhouette defined by its low profile and slim, integrated armrests. The primary upholstery is a neutral light grey fabric, providing a versatile base for interior schemes. The backrest and seat cushions are deep and uniform, supported by a subtle, dark-toned frame that rests on discreet feet. Included with the sofa is a curated collection of scatter cushions in varying tones of charcoal, terracotta, and soft grey, which introduce depth and texture to the overall composition. The design prioritises geometric simplicity and comfort in equal measure.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single editable mesh object or a grouped assembly. Users should check the pivot point upon insertion, ensuring it is aligned with the base for accurate placement on floor planes. Materials are assigned via standard material slots, allowing for easy adjustment of the fabric tiling or colour maps. Scaling should be performed uniformly to maintain the proportions of the cushions relative to the frame before applying lighting and rendering settings.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and upscale waiting areas, this sofa serves as a primary seating anchor in modern design projects. It pairs well with low-profile coffee tables and area rugs, acting as a focal point in open-plan spaces. Professionals searching for neutral, high-quality upholstery assets for interior renders will find this model effective for staging contemporary apartments or corporate breakout zones. It is frequently specified in projects requiring a balanced, comfortable aesthetic that supports diverse interior colour palettes.
