Contemporary Grey Fabric Dining Chair with Metal Frame

This contemporary 3ds Max dining chair features a grey upholstered seat and backrest supported by a slender black metal frame. Defined by its curved, wrap-around backrest and compact seat, this dining chair offers a balanced silhouette suitable for modern interiors. The upholstery is a neutral grey textile, providing a soft contrast to the rigid, slender black metal legs. A distinct detail is the metallic gold-finished joint where the seat frame meets the legs, adding a subtle touch of refinement to the industrial-inspired base. The overall proportions are tailored for comfort, with the backrest extending slightly beyond the seat cushion to create a cohesive, minimalist look that is both functional and aesthetically light.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer separation for easy material assignment and editing. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient subdivision if higher resolution is required for close-up renders. Users can easily adjust the fabric texture mapping on the seat and backrest to match specific project requirements. The metallic components are grouped appropriately, enabling quick changes to the gold or black finishes using standard material editors to ensure consistency with the broader scene lighting and environment settings.

This chair is well-suited for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel restaurants, and professional office breakout areas. Its neutral colour palette allows it to pair seamlessly with marble, glass, or timber dining tables. Designers often specify this style when looking for a modern, understated piece that adds character without dominating the space. Search for this item when sourcing furniture for contemporary dining sets, minimalist kitchen islands, or as an accent chair in a sophisticated home study or lobby setting.
