About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair set features a grey fabric seat with a dark wood frame, paired with a sculptural metal side table. This set includes a single armchair and a matching sculptural side table. The armchair has a curved backrest with a dark wood frame, upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, and includes a square accent cushion with a chevron-patterned texture. Its base features tapered wooden legs with metallic detailing. The side table is designed with a continuous, looping metal base that supports a circular top. The set provides a balanced aesthetic suitable for sophisticated interior compositions where clean lines and soft, tactile upholstery are required to create a sense of comfort and refined elegance.

The download is a 49.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed via a clean layer structure, allowing for easy separation of the chair and side table elements. The materials are mapped with standard coordinates, and users should check the scale against their scene units upon insertion. The geometry is optimized for high-quality interior renders, with separate objects for the cushion and frame to facilitate customisation of textures or fabric patterns if necessary for specific project requirements.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas, this armchair set serves as a primary focal point in conversation zones. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary interior styles, complementing refined flooring such as polished stone or dark timber. Professionals often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for luxury hospitality projects, interior design staging, or architectural visualisation of premium apartments, where a cohesive look between accent furniture and side tables is essential for spatial harmony.
