About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a pair of grey fabric armchairs and a circular marble-topped side table with wood base. This lounge set comprises two matching armchairs and a small pedestal-style side table. Each armchair features a deep, padded seat and a backrest cushion upholstered in a light grey fabric, supported by a curved timber frame and tapered wooden legs. The accompanying side table is designed with a circular marble top, showcasing pronounced veining, and rests on a solid, conical wooden base. The proportions are balanced for intimate seating arrangements, offering a clean, modern aesthetic that blends soft textile surfaces with the organic textures of wood and polished stone detailing.

The download is an 11.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this set is organised into component groups, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a model. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to their project environment before applying materials. The textures for the fabric and marble are mapped to standard faces, making it straightforward to replace or adjust the bump maps and reflections in your preferred render engine. Keep the geometry on a dedicated layer to manage scene complexity effectively when populating larger interior spaces.

This furniture arrangement is well-suited for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks in a boutique office. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes or soft, contemporary decor. Architects and interior designers might search for this model when specifying lounge seating for small-scale hospitality projects or residential master suites. The neutral palette ensures it integrates seamlessly into various colour schemes, providing a versatile solution for creating comfortable, high-end waiting areas or social seating zones in both commercial and private settings.
