About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp ottoman features a split-finish design, combining a grey fabric seat with a brown leather base and straps. This compact rectangular ottoman showcases a distinct material contrast, pairing a textured grey fabric upper section with a smooth brown leather base. The design is unified by leather straps that wrap around the body, secured with metallic hardware details on the sides. The tufted-style upholstery adds depth and comfort to the form, while the overall proportions suggest a versatile piece for casual seating or as a footrest. Its clean lines and mixed-material aesthetic provide a sophisticated look suitable for modern interiors, balancing soft textile elements with the structured, durable finish of leather.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised as a component to ensure easy placement and scaling within your scenes. The materials are applied to individual faces, allowing for quick texture swapping or colour adjustments via the material browser. Since the geometry is relatively simple, it can be easily positioned in tight spaces or grouped with other furniture items. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to maintain a clean file structure when managing complex interior environments.

Ideal for residential living rooms, walk-in wardrobes, or boutique hotel suites, this ottoman serves as a functional accent piece. It works well when placed at the foot of a bed, paired with a lounge chair, or tucked under a console table for extra seating. Designers often search for such pieces as footrests, poufs, or small benches to provide texture and contrast in minimalist or contemporary schemes. The neutral colour palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into various interior design styles and colour schemes.
