About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa is a SketchUp model featuring grey fabric upholstery and a collection of patterned scatter cushions. This 2-seater sofa presents a clean, contemporary silhouette defined by its soft, rounded armrests and deep-seated profile. The upholstery is a neutral grey textile, providing a versatile base for the included set of scatter cushions, which feature a mix of solid tones, subtle graphics, and striped patterns. The frame is low-profile, supported by small, understated timber feet that maintain a lightweight aesthetic. The cushions are arranged to create a lived-in, comfortable appearance, with varied shapes and sizes that add depth and texture to the overall composition of the seating piece.

The download is a 65 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a scene, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility control. Users should verify the scale against standard human figures within the workspace to confirm accurate proportions. Because the cushions are provided as part of the model, they can be individually moved or removed to suit the desired level of clutter or formality within a room. Apply custom materials to the fabric surfaces to adjust the colour or texture scale as required for high-quality renderings.

Ideal for residential living room designs, this sofa fits seamlessly into modern apartments, casual lounge areas, or boutique hotel suites. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and floor lamps to establish a cohesive seating zone. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of versatile, mid-scale furniture when developing realistic interior visualisations or staging floor plans. The neutral palette ensures it complements various interior styles, from Scandinavian-inspired spaces to more eclectic home office environments or guest room settings.
