About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric 2-seater sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring a clean-lined design with included decorative cushions and a throw. The sofa features a structured, low-profile frame upholstered in a neutral grey fabric. It is designed as a compact two-seater, supported by slim metallic legs. The backrest consists of two large, plush cushions, providing a soft contrast to the firm seat base. Included with the model are three distinct decorative cushions: a large grey square pillow, a small white rectangular pillow, and a beige rectangular pillow with a central vertical detail. A draped, textured throw blanket is included, adding a layer of realism and casual comfort to the overall composition.

The download is a 28.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection of the sofa, individual cushions, and the throw blanket. Users can apply custom fabric textures using the standard material editor. The geometry is clean, supporting efficient scene management when populating larger interior environments. The objects are pivot-centered at the base for straightforward placement on floor planes. Ensure that lighting setups, such as HDRI maps or area lights, are adjusted to highlight the fabric folds and soft shadows of the cushions.

This 2-seater sofa is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, studio apartments, or hotel lounge areas where space-efficient seating is required. It pairs effectively with contemporary coffee tables, area rugs, and floor lamps. Professionals searching for neutral-toned, versatile seating for interior design visualisations will find this asset useful for staging small-scale living zones. It integrates seamlessly into projects requiring a relaxed yet refined aesthetic, suitable for both minimalist and contemporary design schemes in architectural rendering and 3D interior staging workflows.
