Contemporary Grey and White Work Desk with Sculptural Stone Base

This contemporary work desk for 3ds Max features a striking asymmetric design with a sculptural stone base and a refined metallic support. The desk presents a sophisticated juxtaposition of textures and forms. A sleek, rectangular grey desktop is accented by a central white inlay, creating a clean linear aesthetic. The support structure is distinctly asymmetric: one side rests on a heavy, raw-textured stone plinth with organic, carved detailing, while the other side is supported by a series of slender, vertical gold-toned metal rods arranged in a rhythmic pattern. The set includes a matching high-back upholstered chair and a small abstract sculptural decor piece, providing a cohesive look for a high-end executive office or a modern home study setup.

The download is a 17.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for efficient material adjustments and object selection. The geometry is clean, suitable for close-up architectural visualisations. Users should verify the pivot points are correctly placed at the base for easy placement within interior scenes. Applying custom HDRI lighting will help accentuate the reflective qualities of the metallic elements and the depth of the stone texture, ensuring the desk integrates seamlessly into a broader room environment without requiring extensive geometry cleanup.
