About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a layered fabric curtain set in grey and white, accompanied by matching window blinds. The set includes a floor-length curtain assembly featuring a central white panel flanked by two grey side drapes, all displaying realistic, soft vertical folds and gravity-influenced drapery. Accompanying the fabric treatment is a separate, compact venetian-style blind unit. The curtains are designed to suggest a standard ceiling-to-floor installation, providing a clean, layered aesthetic suitable for modern interior schemes. The geometry captures the natural drape and weight of textile materials, making it a reliable asset for achieving a realistic look in architectural visualisation scenes where window detailing is required.

The download is a 22.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should verify the scale against their specific window frame dimensions, adjusting the vertex positions of the curtains if necessary to ensure a natural fit. Material slots are provided for applying custom fabric shaders or textures, while the blinds can be positioned independently to simulate varying degrees of light filtration and privacy within the rendered space.

Ideal for residential bedrooms, living rooms, and boutique hotel suites, these curtains add a layer of softness and domestic detail to architectural renders. They pair effectively with contemporary furniture sets and neutral interior palettes. Professionals often search for these assets when detailing window treatments, dressing empty glazing, or adding depth to room perspectives. They are suitable for use throughout the design process, from early conceptual massing to final high-fidelity visualisations where fabric textures and realistic window finishes are essential.
