About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features a high-contrast design with light wood panels against dark grey slatted wall cladding. The assembly comprises a central television mounting area framed by vertical light timber panels with subtle linear detailing. This light-toned core is set against a dark grey, vertically slatted background that provides depth and texture to the composition. A sleek, wall-mounted console shelf runs the length of the lower section, featuring a dark finish and integrated storage drawers. The unit is accessorised with decorative objects, including a small figurine and stacked books, demonstrating the scale and functional capacity of the design. Its clean lines and minimalist aesthetic suit modern interior configurations.

The download is a 7.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this assembly is typically managed as a single object or grouped collection. Users should verify the pivot point is set to the wall face for accurate placement. Since the unit relies on distinct material zones, applying textures to the slatted panels and the flat timber sections separately is recommended for optimal realism. Ensure the scale is matched to the room height during insertion. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the texture of the slatted panels and the under-shelf ambient glow.

This TV wall unit is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, media suites, or luxury apartment interiors. It creates a focal point in open-plan living areas when paired with minimalist soft furnishings or low-profile modular sofas. Architects and interior designers often specify this type of bespoke joinery to conceal cabling and provide streamlined storage solutions. It is suitable for projects requiring a sophisticated, contemporary look and works well in spaces where textural contrast is needed to define a media zone.
