Contemporary Grey and Black Fabric Double Layer Curtains

These contemporary double-layer curtains for SketchUp feature a contrasting combination of solid black and patterned grey fabric panels. This window treatment set consists of a double-layered curtain assembly, featuring a wide, solid black outer layer and a narrower, textured grey inner panel. The fabric displays a soft, realistic drape with vertical folds that create natural-looking shadows. The grey panel incorporates a subtle, repeating grid-like pattern, providing visual depth and texture. The overall construction is designed to suggest a full-height window installation, with the fabric hanging cleanly from a concealed track system. The scale and proportion are intended to mimic standard residential window dimensions, providing a versatile solution for interior visualization projects.

The download is a 45.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtains function as a component that can be easily scaled or stretched to fit specific window openings. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design process. Applying high-resolution textures or adjusting the opacity settings within the material editor can help achieve the desired translucency or light-blocking effect. It is recommended to use the scale tool to adjust the height to match your interior ceiling height before final rendering.
