About this asset

This contemporary green velvet upholstered bench for 3ds Max features a sleek, low-profile rectangular form with slim metal legs. This sophisticated bench features a deep green velvet upholstery with a subtle grid-tufted surface, creating a refined, tactile aesthetic. The rectangular seat is supported by a minimalist black metal frame that contrasts with the softness of the textile. At the base, slender legs terminate in metallic accents, providing an elegant, grounded profile. The design includes a draped patterned throw and an open book, adding a lived-in, curated quality to the piece. Its proportions are ideal for placing at the foot of a bed or as a standalone accent within a formal living area.

The download is a 38.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max project, ensure the object is properly scaled to your scene units before applying custom shaders. The velvet material uses a complex texture map; check the bitmap paths upon loading to maintain the correct sheen and light reflection. The metal frame and legs are separate elements, allowing for easy material assignment or modification. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the depth of the tufted upholstery and the metallic finish on the leg tips for a realistic final render.

This versatile bench works well in high-end residential interiors, particularly in master bedrooms, walk-in closets, or spacious entry hallways. It pairs effectively with modern bedroom sets, neutral-toned rugs, and minimalist decor. Professionals often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for boutique hotels, luxury dressing rooms, or contemporary lounges. Its clean lines and rich texture make it a suitable choice for projects requiring a touch of comfort without sacrificing a sharp, architectural silhouette in the space.
