About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max side table features a sleek glass top supported by a distinctive gold-finished metal frame and base. The side table presents a refined, contemporary aesthetic defined by its clean, square glass top and an intricate metal base. The structure combines a solid, block-like support element with a series of vertical, slender gold rods that create an open, airy visual effect. This contrast between the opaque solid section and the linear metal framework adds depth to the piece. The overall finish is polished gold, providing a subtle metallic sheen. Included with the table are decorative accessories, specifically a small succulent in a gold pot, a minimalist ceramic vessel, and sculptural branch elements.

The download is a 6.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a cohesive object group, allowing for easy placement within interior scenes. Users should verify the pivot point at the base for accurate floor alignment. The materials are pre-configured for standard renderers; however, checking the reflection maps on the glass surface is recommended to ensure appropriate interaction with scene lighting. The accessory set is grouped separately, enabling quick toggling for staging flexibility or individual use in other project compositions without altering the primary table geometry.

This side table serves as an ideal accent piece for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel suites, or contemporary office reception areas. It pairs well with minimalist upholstery or velvet-textured lounge chairs. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying luxury interior schemes that require a balance of metallic warmth and transparent surfaces. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for tight corners or as a functional pedestal in a gallery space, effectively bridging the gap between decorative display and practical surface utility.
