Contemporary Gold and Black Metal Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two round nesting tables finished in contrasting black and gold metallic tones. This nesting coffee table set consists of two circular units with varying heights, designed to overlap for a layered aesthetic. The larger table features a cylindrical base with a split finish of black and gold, topped with a dark glass surface. The smaller, elevated table is supported by a solid black cylindrical pedestal and topped with a reflective glass surface framed in a slim gold rim. Decorative elements, including a glass vase with dried foliage, small containers, and a stack of books, are included as part of the complete scene assembly.

The download is a 30.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users can adjust the positioning of the tables by translating the individual objects to suit specific spatial requirements. Materials are assigned using standard slots, allowing for quick adjustments to the metallic reflectivity or glass transparency. The model is scaled for standard residential use, though users should verify dimensions against their project floor plan before final placement. Lighting the scene requires setting up an HDRI or area lights to capture the metallic highlights.

These nesting tables suit high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern reception areas where flexible surface space is required. They pair well with velvet or leather sofas and minimalist area rugs. Architects and interior designers often use these pieces to add a touch of luxury to a seating arrangement while maintaining a clean, geometric profile.
