About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a pair of upholstered lounge chairs with wooden frames and contrasting fabric finishes. This set consists of two distinct lounge chairs, each sharing a consistent silhouette with a curved, wrap-around backrest and tapered wooden legs. The first chair features a light-coloured fabric seat with a dark exterior shell, while the second presents a soft blue upholstery paired with a similar dark frame. Both pieces exhibit a compact, ergonomic design suitable for intimate seating arrangements. The construction highlights a blend of textile textures and solid timber components, providing a balanced visual profile that complements a wide range of interior styles from modern to transitional.

The download is a 35.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these models are organised into components for easy manipulation and placement. Users can adjust the material mapping on the upholstery surfaces or swap the fabric textures to suit specific project palettes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient grouping and layering within a larger scene. When integrating into a project, ensure the pivot points are correctly set at the base of the legs to facilitate quick rotation and alignment against walls or within furniture groupings.

These lounge chairs are ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks in boutique commercial spaces. They pair effectively with low-profile coffee tables or side tables to create a cohesive conversation area. Professionals searching for accent seating or lounge furniture will find this set useful for adding character to a floor plan. They are best suited for early-stage conceptual renderings or final presentations where a touch of comfort and refined, contemporary design is required to populate a space.
