Contemporary Dark Wood Shelving Unit with Pastel Desk Set

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a tall dark wood shelving unit paired with a pastel desk and an upholstered accent chair. The assembly comprises a large, floor-standing open shelving unit in a dark wood finish, providing five horizontal tiers for display and storage. Accompanying this is a compact, oval-topped desk finished in a soft pastel tone with slender legs, complemented by a modern grey upholstered chair featuring a curved backrest and slim metallic legs. The set includes a curated selection of decorative props, including stacked books, small figurines, and cushions, arranged to create a complete, ready-to-use study nook or bedroom corner. The proportions are balanced for domestic interior applications, emphasizing a clean, functional aesthetic.

The download is a 63.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by layers, allowing for easy separation of the shelving, desk, and chair components. Users can adjust the material IDs to modify the wood grain or fabric textures independently. Given the inclusion of multiple decorative items, it is recommended to group the props into a single layer to manage viewport performance. Standard pivot points are set at the base of each object for intuitive placement against walls or within floor plans, while texture mapping is applied for standard render workflows.
