About this asset

This contemporary 4-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a sleek black-topped rectangular table paired with mixed-finish woven chairs. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a slender, dark-finished top supported by a substantial central timber base. Accompanying the table are four chairs, each featuring a curved backrest and a traditional woven seat. The chairs are presented in two distinct finishes: two in a light, natural wood and two in a rich, deeper walnut-brown tone. The design balances clean, minimalist lines with the tactile warmth of natural materials, creating a versatile aesthetic suitable for varied interior styles. The structural simplicity of the chairs contrasts effectively with the weight of the table base.

The download is a 49 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The chairs and table are typically grouped as individual elements, allowing for easy placement and arrangement around a dining area. Use the material editor to adjust the wood grain textures and the woven seat mapping to suit your specific lighting environment. Proper pivot point alignment is essential for quick snapping to floor planes or positioning in complex room layouts.

This set is ideal for modern residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen-dining spaces, or boutique hospitality projects such as restaurants and cafes. It pairs well with neutral interior palettes, textured wall treatments, and minimalist pendant lighting. Architects and interior designers might search for this when specifying furniture for high-end apartments or contemporary dining areas where a mix of light and dark wood tones is desired to create visual interest. It provides a clean, functional centerpiece that supports a variety of interior design narratives.
