About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max scene features a dark grey console desk, two upholstered stools, and vertical shelving units. The console desk is finished in a dark grey wood, featuring a cabinet base with panelled doors and elegant turned legs. Two round stools with white, tufted upholstered seats provide seating, supported by matching dark grey turned legs. Flanking the desk are two tall, slender shelving units that extend upwards, holding various decorative items including books and small plants. A large potted plant stands to the left of the console, providing a natural vertical element. The overall aesthetic is cohesive, blending traditional turned-leg details with a modern, dark colour palette and clean, functional arrangement.

The download is a 149 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised for efficient integration into larger interior projects. Users can merge the assembly into a master file, ensuring the pivot points are correctly aligned for placement against walls. Materials are mapped for immediate rendering, and the individual components—desk, shelving, and stools—are grouped for easy adjustment or independent use. Lighting should be adjusted to suit the specific interior environment, with the provided accessories serving as pre-staged props to populate the scene for quick visualisation.

This console desk assembly is ideal for home office setups, sophisticated hallways, or boutique retail environments where a compact, styled workstation is required. It pairs well with modern lighting fixtures and neutral interior schemes to create a focal point. Professionals searching for a complete, ready-to-render furniture arrangement for residential or hospitality projects will find this set useful for dressing empty spaces, providing a curated look that balances storage with a refined, contemporary aesthetic without needing additional styling assets.
