About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bedside table features a dark grey fabric-upholstered storage unit supported by slim black metal legs. This bedside table presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its square, fabric-wrapped storage body and slender metal legs. The dark grey textile finish provides a soft, tactile contrast to the minimalist frame. Included in this 3ds Max model are decorative elements: a stack of two books and a small, gold-toned metallic bowl, which sit atop the flat surface. The design is compact and functional, suitable for modern sleeping quarters. The combination of fabric and metal materials suggests a refined, understated approach to bedroom furniture that prioritises both comfort and structural integrity.

The download is a 3.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the file into your master project. The objects are grouped, allowing for easy placement and alignment against a headboard or wall. Ensure that the pivot point is at the base of the legs for accurate positioning on the floor plane. Apply standard material overrides if necessary to match your specific lighting environment and adjust the UV maps if you choose to customise the fabric textures for your renders.

This piece is ideal for residential bedroom designs, boutique hotel suites, and contemporary interior styling projects. It pairs effectively with upholstered bed frames and minimalist lighting fixtures, such as the included pendant. Professionals searching for a versatile nightstand or a small accent table for a lounge area will find this model useful. It fits well in projects ranging from high-end apartments to minimalist guest rooms, serving as a subtle, sophisticated anchor for bedside storage and decorative display in modern living spaces.
