Contemporary Dark Green Velvet Armless Lounge Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a distinct armless silhouette, finished in a dark green velvet with vertical tufting. Defined by its sculptural, continuous curve, this armless lounge chair provides a minimalist yet striking profile for modern interiors. The seat and backrest are integrated into a single flowing form, upholstered in a deep, dark green velvet fabric. Vertical channel tufting runs across the entire surface, adding texture and visual depth while reinforcing the piece's streamlined aesthetic. The absence of traditional legs or armrests emphasises its low-profile, floor-hugging design, making it a bold statement piece that prioritises comfort through its soft, padded construction and ergonomic, reclined seating angle.

The download is a 12.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For integration into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on a level surface plane to maintain its intended floor-resting position. The model should be managed using object layers to allow for easy selection and material adjustments. Users can apply custom fabric shaders or modify the existing velvet texture to suit specific lighting conditions. Given its singular, organic geometry, the model is straightforward to scale or duplicate when creating modular seating arrangements within larger architectural visualisations.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary reading nooks, this lounge chair pairs effectively with low-slung side tables or as a solitary accent piece in a minimalist bedroom. Professionals might search for this item when specifying modular lounge seating, statement accent chairs, or green-toned furniture for high-end interior projects. Its versatile, armless configuration allows it to function well in tight spaces where a smaller footprint is required without sacrificing visual impact or seating comfort.
