About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a solid timber frame paired with dark brown leather upholstery and a decorative side panel. Defined by its substantial timber frame, this armchair balances geometric structure with comfortable proportions. The piece is upholstered in dark brown leather across the seat and backrest, complemented by a light-toned fabric scatter cushion. The frame showcases a prominent wood grain, with thick armrests that transition into a continuous base support. A distinctive feature is the dark, textured panel inset into the side of the armrest, providing a material contrast to the smooth timber. The low-profile design and clean lines give it a grounded, solid appearance suitable for various interior settings.

In 3ds Max, this model should be managed using standardized layer naming to keep the scene organized. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within a floor plan or interior perspective. Users can adjust the material IDs to swap leather textures or timber finishes to match specific project palettes. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the chair for efficient snapping to floor surfaces. Proper light placement is essential to highlight the wood grain and leather highlights.

This armchair is well-suited for high-end residential lounge areas, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office waiting rooms. Its robust form pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as part of a larger seating arrangement in a modern living room. Designers searching for a statement piece with natural material textures will find this model versatile. It functions effectively in both contemporary and transitional schemes, providing a comfortable focal point for interior design visualizations that require refined, tactile furniture assets.
