About this asset

Contemporary cream velvet curved sofa with integrated side table, provided as a 3ds Max model featuring a channel-tufted backrest. This contemporary sofa features a distinctive kidney-shaped silhouette with a sweeping, channel-tufted backrest that provides a structured yet soft aesthetic. Upholstered in a plush cream velvet, the piece sits upon a slender metallic gold base plinth. An integrated side table, finished with a dark circular top and a marble-clad cylindrical support, extends from the left side of the frame. The set includes two decorative cushions—one in a textured light grey and one in a dark brown velvet—along with a draped brown throw blanket to add visual depth.

The download is a 22.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming for efficient scene management. Users should verify the material editor settings to ensure the velvet shaders and metallic finishes display correctly in their chosen render engine. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward placement within a larger interior scene. Adjusting the scale should be done using the base plinth as a reference point to maintain the intended proportions of the curved frame and the attached side table element.

This curved sofa is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or sophisticated waiting areas where a statement piece is required. Its fluid form works effectively in open-plan layouts to define seating zones without blocking sightlines. Professionals often search for this type of asset when specifying luxury lounge furniture or creating bespoke interior visualisations. It pairs seamlessly with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and ambient floor lighting to create a cohesive, inviting space for conversation and relaxation.
