About this asset

This contemporary cream fabric L-shaped sofa with a dark wood frame is a 3ds Max model featuring a clean-lined, low-profile design. Defined by its minimalist aesthetic, this L-shaped sofa features a robust dark-stained timber frame that contrasts against the soft, light-toned upholstery. The piece includes a fixed chaise section on the right, providing an elongated seating area. The backrest is continuous with the armrests, creating a streamlined silhouette. Four scatter cushions in varying shades of cream and taupe are included, adding texture and depth to the seating surface. The proportions are balanced, with a slim base and generous cushions, making it suitable for modern open-plan living spaces or refined lounge areas.

The download is a 37.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed through a clean layer structure, allowing for easy selection of the frame and soft goods. Users can apply custom materials or adjust the existing fabric textures via the Slate Material Editor. The geometry is optimized for efficient scene placement, and the pivot point is positioned at the base for straightforward alignment with floor planes. Standard lighting setups or HDRI environments should be used to accentuate the material contrast between the matte fabric and the polished wood.
