Contemporary Charcoal Fabric Three-Seater Sofa

This contemporary 3-seater sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a low-profile silhouette upholstered in a dark charcoal fabric. Defined by its clean lines and horizontal emphasis, this three-seater sofa offers a grounded, contemporary aesthetic. The design features a continuous backrest that flows seamlessly into wide, flat armrests, creating a balanced and minimalist form. The seat cushions appear integrated, maintaining the sofa's sleek, monolithic appearance. Upholstered in a deep charcoal fabric, the piece provides a neutral yet bold anchor for modern interiors. Its low-slung base and generous proportions suggest comfort without sacrificing its architectural profile, making it a versatile choice for both formal living areas and relaxed, open-plan lounge spaces.

The download is a 6.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this model is best utilized by merging it directly into your scene file. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy placement on floor planes. Given the uniform fabric surface, apply a high-quality bump or noise map to the material editor to enhance the realism of the textile weave under close-up lighting. Adjust the reflection glossiness to suit your specific interior lighting conditions, ensuring the charcoal tone retains its depth without becoming overly dark or losing essential shadow detail.
