About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a pair of low-profile square ottomans upholstered in a textured charcoal fabric. These two square ottomans are defined by a clean, minimalist silhouette and a low-profile construction suitable for modern living spaces. Each piece is fully upholstered in a durable, textured charcoal-grey fabric that provides a tactile finish. The design is simple, focusing on geometric precision with sharp, defined edges and a flat top surface, making them versatile for use as footrests or casual seating. Their compact, uniform shape allows them to be placed side-by-side to create a larger surface or positioned individually within a room layout, adding a neutral, sophisticated element to any interior scheme.

The download is a 2.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate these ottomans into a 3ds Max scene, simply merge the asset into your project file and use the align tool to position them on the floor plane. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement alongside sofas or armchairs. Since the models share a consistent material, you can apply your preferred fabric shaders or adjust the existing texture mapping to match your specific lighting environment. Ensure the pivot points are set to the base for precise snapping and furniture arrangement.

These ottomans are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or modern office reception areas. They function effectively as versatile footstools, extra seating for guests, or as a base for styling decor items like books and trays. Designers often specify these pieces in contemporary or minimalist interior projects to provide functional utility without visual clutter.
