About this asset

This contemporary charcoal fabric modular sectional sofa 3ds Max model features a relaxed, loose-cover design with varied scatter cushions. Defined by its deep, modular form, this sectional sofa features a dark charcoal fabric upholstery with a soft, lived-in aesthetic. The low-profile silhouette is complemented by wide armrests and a modular structure that allows for versatile configurations. A selection of scatter cushions in contrasting grey and vibrant orange tones adds depth to the arrangement, while a draped textile with fringed edges provides a tactile, casual detail. The overall construction suggests a comfortable, sink-in feel, making it a suitable centerpiece for relaxed living spaces that prioritize both comfort and a modern, understated visual language.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, import the geometry and ensure the texture paths for the fabric shaders are correctly linked. The modular components can be rearranged or scaled to fit specific floor plans. Since the model includes detailed cushions and a draped textile, check the geometry for any necessary mesh smoothing or subdivision. Use standard architectural lighting setups, such as an HDRI environment or area lights, to highlight the fabric textures and the subtle folds in the upholstery.

This sectional sofa is ideal for residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or casual hotel lobby lounges. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and floor lamps to create a cohesive, inviting seating area. Designers often search for modular seating solutions that offer a relaxed, contemporary aesthetic for projects requiring flexible furniture layouts. It works well in both minimalist and eclectic interiors where a dark, grounding element is needed to balance lighter wall finishes and architectural features.
