About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a pair of charcoal fabric curtains on a metal rod alongside a matching venetian blind. This window treatment set comprises a pair of floor-length curtains finished in a deep charcoal fabric, suspended from a slim black metal rod via integrated grommets. The fabric features a tight, uniform vertical pleat structure that creates consistent, soft folds. Adjacent to the curtains is a horizontal venetian blind, constructed with thin, evenly spaced slats in a matching dark finish. The assembly is designed for clean, modern interiors, providing a balanced combination of textile softness and the precise, linear geometry of the blinds for effective light control and privacy.

The download is a 13.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model functions as a grouped component, allowing for easy placement against window frames or wall surfaces. Users should adjust the width of the curtain rod and the length of the blinds to suit specific project dimensions by scaling along the relevant axes. The material textures are applied to individual components, permitting quick updates to the fabric colour or the finish of the metal hardware. Ensure the normals are correctly oriented to avoid rendering artifacts in external visualization plugins.

These curtains are essential for residential bedroom, living room, and home office designs where a refined, minimalist aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with contemporary interiors, providing a neutral backdrop that complements various furniture styles. Architects and interior designers will find this set useful for interior renders, particularly when staging light-filled spaces that require adjustable window coverings.
