About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a contemporary charcoal fabric bench with a wooden frame, styled with a decorative tray and throw blanket. This contemporary bench features a clean-lined, rectangular upholstered seat finished in a dark charcoal fabric. The frame is constructed from solid wood with a dark finish, supported by simple, slightly tapered legs. Accompanying the piece is a curated decor set, including a metallic serving tray holding a glass decanter and two tumblers, alongside a folded brown textile throw draped over one end. The proportions are low-profile and elongated, making it suitable for placement at the foot of a bed or as a secondary seating element in a living area.

The download is a 23.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the bench, decor, and textiles. Users should check the pivot point for correct placement on floor surfaces. The fabric and wood materials are mapped with standard textures, which can be adjusted for scale or reflection intensity to suit the project's lighting environment. The model is scaled to real-world dimensions, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into architectural scenes without requiring significant manual adjustments during the initial placement phase.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this bench serves as an effective styling piece for master bedroom suites or sophisticated living room arrangements. It pairs well with modern bedroom furniture or as an accent in a minimalist lounge setting. Professionals often search for this type of asset when looking to add curated, lived-in detail to architectural visualisations. It is particularly useful for final-stage rendering where adding small, realistic elements like a tray and blanket enhances the overall sense of interior depth.
