Contemporary Charcoal and Walnut L-Shaped Kitchen with Island

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen unit features charcoal and walnut cabinetry with a marble-topped island for modern residential interiors. This L-shaped kitchen assembly combines matte charcoal cabinetry with rich walnut-toned accents, creating a sophisticated dual-tone aesthetic. The layout includes a tall integrated refrigerator housing, overhead storage, and an open shelving unit at the end of the run. A separate kitchen island features a dark marble countertop with integrated sink and chrome faucet, providing a functional workspace. The design balances enclosed cabinetry for clean lines with an open shelf for decorative display. The overall composition is compact and efficient, suitable for open-plan living areas where the kitchen needs to integrate seamlessly with the dining or lounge space.

The download is a 17.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and alignment against architectural walls. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan before merging. The materials are applied using standard mapping, which can be easily adjusted or replaced with custom textures. Lighting the scene effectively involves placing area lights above the island and accent lights within the open shelving to highlight the walnut textures and marble veining, ensuring the kitchen reads well in both daylight and evening renders.
