Contemporary Burgundy Leather Tufted Booth Sofa

This contemporary SketchUp booth sofa features a deep burgundy tufted leather backrest mounted on a simple wooden plinth base. Designed for fixed installations, this booth sofa combines a formal tufted backrest with a minimalist seat construction. The back features a distinct diamond-tufted pattern accented with buttons, upholstered in a deep burgundy leather finish. The seat cushion is smooth and firm, providing a clean contrast to the textured backrest. Below the upholstery, the sofa sits on a solid, rectangular timber plinth with a rich wood grain finish. The proportions are compact and upright, typical of commercial booth seating intended for dining or waiting areas where space efficiency and durability are priorities.

The download is a 2.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured as a single block for easy placement against walls or within booth configurations. Users should check the component axes upon import to ensure the backrest aligns correctly with wall geometry. The material properties are assigned to distinct groups, allowing for quick texture swapping if a different leather colour or wood finish is required for specific project palettes. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain scene organization when populating large restaurant or cafe layouts.

Ideal for hospitality and commercial projects, this booth sofa works well in restaurant dining rooms, hotel lobbies, or casual cafe environments. It pairs effectively with fixed pedestal tables or can be arranged in back-to-back configurations to maximize seating capacity in tight floor plans. Designers often search for this asset when specifying banquette seating for high-traffic public spaces or creating comfortable waiting zones in retail showrooms. It provides a classic, upscale aesthetic suitable for both modern and traditional interior design schemes.
