About this asset

The armchair is defined by its elegant, lightweight aesthetic, combining a natural-toned rattan mesh backrest with a minimalist frame. Its structural design creates a semi-enclosed, comfortable seating posture. The piece includes a soft, slightly wrinkled burgundy fabric seat cushion and a matching rectangular lumbar pillow, providing a tactile contrast to the rigid, woven cane frame. The splayed legs offer stability while maintaining a slender, airy profile. This piece balances decorative appeal with functional ergonomics, making it a versatile addition to any interior space requiring a touch of refined, organic texture.

The download is a 10.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the seat and frame components. Users should ensure the material library is correctly linked upon import to maintain the texture mapping on the rattan mesh and fabric cushions. The asset is scaled for standard interior scenes, though it should be checked against project-specific floor plans to ensure ergonomic accuracy. Lighting setups should focus on highlighting the weave detail of the rattan and the depth of the fabric.

This lounge chair is well-suited for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or relaxed reading nooks in modern homes. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables or as a solitary accent piece in an open-plan office lounge. Professionals searching for organic, textured seating will find this model useful for creating inviting, contemporary environments. It integrates seamlessly into projects focused on biophilic design or casual, layered interiors, providing both visual interest and comfortable, auxiliary seating for various guest-facing areas.
