About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a brown velvet tub-style frame complemented by a matching cream-coloured scatter cushion. Defined by its curved, semi-circular backrest and deep, continuous armrests, this tub-style armchair offers a compact yet comfortable silhouette. The exterior is upholstered in a rich, warm brown velvet, which provides a soft, tactile finish. A single, square-shaped loose scatter cushion in a contrasting cream fabric sits within the seat area, adding both visual depth and additional lumbar support. The design maintains a clean, minimalist aesthetic, with subtle vertical piping detailing along the inner backrest and front edges, reinforcing the structured form while maintaining a refined, inviting appearance for various interior settings.

The download is a 13.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within residential or commercial interior layouts. Users can manipulate the velvet material parameters to adjust sheen and reflection values, ensuring it reacts correctly to scene lighting. The cushion is provided as a separate element, facilitating minor adjustments to its position or rotation to achieve a more natural, lived-in look within the final render composition.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end office reception areas, this armchair serves as an excellent accent piece. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as part of a larger seating arrangement in a lounge. Professionals seeking a versatile, sophisticated chair for luxury design projects will find this asset useful for creating warm, inviting conversation zones.
