About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a sculptural slatted timber screen paired with a white hanging planter and foliage. The assembly comprises a large, vertical timber screen composed of rhythmic, wave-patterned slats that create a dynamic, textured surface. Positioned in front is a sleek, rectangular white planter box suspended by thin, minimalist metal rods. The planter is filled with a variety of lush green indoor plants and small red flowers, providing a vibrant contrast to the deep brown wood tones of the screen. This unit acts as a semi-transparent room divider or feature wall, blending organic elements with structured, modern joinery details to define interior spaces.

The download is a 25.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this into a 3ds Max project, import the geometry into your scene and ensure the scale aligns with your architectural floor plates. The slatted screen and planter are typically grouped; consider unlinking them to adjust the planter position or height if required. Apply custom wood grain maps to the slats to enhance realism, and ensure the foliage materials are correctly mapped for your chosen render engine, as the complexity of the leaves may require specific transparency or opacity channel settings.

Ideal for biophilic design schemes, this partition is suited for open-plan offices, luxury hotel lobbies, or residential living areas where a soft visual barrier is needed. It works effectively as a decorative backdrop in retail showrooms or professional reception spaces. Architects and interior designers often search for slatted wood dividers, vertical garden features, or modern room partitions to add texture and greenery to sterile environments. Pair this asset with soft ambient lighting to highlight the depth and shadow play of the timber slats.
