Contemporary Brown Leather Swivel Lounge Chair

This contemporary brown leather lounge chair for SketchUp features a distinctive curved shell seat supported by a natural wood swivel base. The lounge chair showcases a refined silhouette defined by its sweeping, organic curves and a low-profile, enveloping backrest. Upholstered in a textured brown leather, the seat provides a clean, minimalist aesthetic with subtle vertical seam detailing along the center back. The structure is anchored by a four-legged, star-shaped swivel base crafted from light-toned natural wood, providing a warm contrast to the darker upholstery. The proportions are compact yet inviting, making this piece an ideal choice for focused seating areas where comfort and sculptural form are equally prioritized in the interior scheme.

The download is a 10.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, utilize the component structure to manage the geometry efficiently. The swivel base is grouped separately, allowing for easy rotation or material replacement if a different wood finish is required. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organization. For high-quality visualizations, consider applying a subtle bump map to the leather texture to enhance the perceived depth of the material under your chosen lighting setup.

This lounge chair is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive home office spaces. It functions effectively as a standalone accent piece or in pairs to create a conversational grouping. Professionals searching for stylish, compact seating solutions will find this model versatile for both open-plan layouts and tighter corners. Pair this chair with a low-profile side table or a minimalist floor lamp to complete a sophisticated, contemporary reading nook or a relaxed waiting area in a commercial setting.
