Contemporary Brown Fabric and Wood Bench with Leather Straps

This contemporary 3ds Max bench features a brown fabric upholstered seat secured to a dark wood frame by integrated leather straps. Defined by clean lines and a material-focused aesthetic, this bench consists of a thick, rectangular timber seat base supported by a minimalist metal-and-wood frame. The primary seating surface is a long, low-profile cushion upholstered in a textured, warm-toned fabric. This cushion is cinched at both ends by dark leather straps that wrap over the top and fasten to the timber frame, providing a distinct visual tension. The legs are slender, finished in a dark, matte tone that complements the deep wood grain, resulting in a balanced, sophisticated piece for modern interiors.

The download is a 33.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the timber, metal, and fabric components. The geometry is clean, supporting efficient viewport navigation and quick material adjustments. Users should check the pivot point, which is centred at the base for easy placement on floor planes. Texture maps are applied with standard UV coordinates, making it straightforward to swap fabric swatches or adjust the timber stain properties to suit specific project requirements within the scene's existing lighting setup.

This bench is an ideal choice for high-end residential entryways, boutique hotel lobbies, or minimalist bedroom schemes where a refined seating element is required. It works effectively at the foot of a bed or as a standalone accent piece in a gallery-style hallway. Designers often search for this type of furniture when looking for tactile, textured additions to neutral spaces. It pairs well with natural stone flooring or large-format area rugs, providing a grounded, functional focal point in both domestic and commercial environments.
