About this asset

This contemporary square ceiling panel for SketchUp features a geometric diamond pattern with integrated decorative accents. This square ceiling panel is designed with a structured, multi-layered frame that transitions into a recessed central field. The inner surface is defined by a precise diamond-grid pattern, punctuated at each intersection by small, dark circular nodes. The entire assembly is rendered in a uniform brown tone, suggesting a synthetic or finished material composition. Four rectangular mounting or decorative details are positioned symmetrically along the inner perimeter, providing a mechanical aesthetic to the otherwise clean, geometric design. The panel is suitable for modular ceiling applications where a formal, grid-based ornamental element is required.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilized as a component that can be arrayed to create larger ceiling patterns. Users should ensure the axes are correctly aligned for snapping to ceiling planes or grid systems. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy application of custom textures or colours to the panel surfaces. If lighting effects are required, the small circular nodes can be assigned emissive materials to simulate integrated lighting fixtures within the panel design.

This ceiling panel is ideal for contemporary residential or commercial lobby projects where ceiling detail is needed to define specific zones. It works well in high-end retail interiors, modern office reception areas, or sophisticated dining spaces. Architects and interior designers can use this asset to add texture to flat soffits or to create feature panels in luxury interior schemes. It pairs effectively with minimalist lighting solutions and can be integrated into ceiling grids for a cohesive, professional finish.
