Contemporary Blue Velvet Upholstered Bed with Feature Wall

This contemporary bedroom scene for SketchUp features a blue velvet upholstered bed with a full-height fluted headboard and wood panelling. This bedroom ensemble centres on a low-profile bed upholstered in deep blue velvet, featuring a matching floor-to-ceiling fluted headboard that spans the width of the bed area. The backdrop is integrated with light-toned timber wall panelling, creating a sophisticated contrast. The set includes two distinct nightstands: one black minimalist drawer unit and a small circular pedestal table. A soft, neutral-toned area rug defines the space, while subtle lighting fixtures complete the composition. The proportions are balanced, offering a cohesive look for high-end residential or hotel interior visualisations.

The download is a 37.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model, import the component into your master file and explode the group to manage individual elements like the nightstands or headboard panels. Ensure the textures are mapped correctly by checking the material library for the velvet and wood finishes. If using external renderers, apply PBR materials to the fabric surfaces to capture the soft light reflection typical of velvet. Use layers to toggle between the bed assembly and the wall panelling for flexible scene staging.

Ideal for master bedroom designs, guest suites, and luxury hotel projects, this model provides a complete focal point for interior renders. It pairs well with modern lighting schemes and minimalist decor. Professionals searching for 'upholstered bed with feature wall', 'contemporary bedroom set', or 'fluted headboard design' will find this asset useful for both concept development and final presentation stages. It is particularly suited for high-end residential developments where a cohesive, ready-to-use furniture solution is required for rapid interior visualisation.
