About this asset

This contemporary blue leather lounge chair is a SketchUp model featuring a low-profile, rounded silhouette and soft, organic curves. This lounge chair features a distinctive low-profile design with a heavily padded, rounded form. The piece is upholstered in a smooth, matte blue leather that emphasizes its soft, voluminous shape. It incorporates integrated, plump armrests that flow seamlessly into the backrest and deep seat cushion. The silhouette is entirely rounded, lacking sharp edges or visible legs, which gives the chair a grounded, sculptural appearance. The proportions are wide and inviting, intended for relaxed seating, with subtle seam detailing that defines the structural zones of the back and seat while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic.

The download is a 5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a single component, allowing for easy placement within interior scenes. Users can adjust the scale to fit specific spatial requirements or apply custom textures to the leather surface if a different finish is desired. It is recommended to place the chair on its own layer to manage scene complexity. Since the geometry is soft and organic, ensure that softened edges are preserved during any modifications to maintain the intended visual quality of the curved surfaces.

This lounge chair is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or private reading nooks where a statement seating piece is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or low-slung coffee tables to maintain a consistent low-profile aesthetic. Professionals searching for soft, sculptural seating for high-end residential projects or contemporary lounge areas will find this asset useful for creating relaxed, comfortable atmospheres. It integrates seamlessly into interior design visualizations, particularly when aiming for a soft, inviting look in a contemporary space.
