About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a blue fabric curved sofa paired with six cream-coloured scatter cushions for added comfort. Defined by a distinct crescent silhouette, this contemporary sofa offers a fluid, organic form suitable for central room placement. The primary seating frame is upholstered in a textured blue fabric, providing a soft tactile quality. It is complemented by a set of six scatter cushions in a neutral cream tone, which create a subtle contrast against the deep blue base. The deep, continuous seat and low-profile backrest maintain a clean, minimalist aesthetic, while the curved geometry encourages social interaction. This piece is a self-contained unit, complete with all visible upholstery detailing and cushion arrangements.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can apply custom fabric textures or procedural materials to the base geometry and cushions via the material editor. The model is scaled for standard interior scenes; ensure the pivot point is set to the base center for easy placement on floor planes. Lighting setups should account for the soft fabric highlights, typically using area lights or HDRI environments to accurately render the fine weave of the textile upholstery.

This curved sofa is ideal for luxury residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end office reception areas where a statement piece is required. Its organic shape works well in open-plan spaces to define seating zones or as a focal point in a circular lounge arrangement. Professionals might search for 'curved lounge seating', 'statement sofa', or 'contemporary living room furniture' when specifying this piece for high-end interior design projects. It pairs effectively with circular coffee tables or low-profile accent furniture in modern settings.
