About this asset

This contemporary kids wardrobe set is a SketchUp model featuring a vibrant blue and yellow finish with integrated open shelving units. The wardrobe set comprises two primary modular units designed for a child's bedroom. The left section features solid doors with a geometric white mountain-inspired motif and six lower drawers detailed with cross-shaped handles. An integrated diamond-shaped shelf adds an unconventional display element. The construction combines solid-coloured cabinetry with contrasting interior accents, providing a playful yet functional storage solution that accommodates clothing, small accessories, and decorative items within a single, cohesive room arrangement.

The download is a 157 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model functions as a collection of grouped components, allowing for easy adjustment of individual doors or shelves. Users should leverage the layer system to manage the visibility of the decorative items included in the niches. Applying materials is straightforward, as the geometry is cleanly mapped for texture placement. When integrating into a larger scene, ensure the unit is correctly anchored to the wall plane and use standard scaling tools if the room height requires minor adjustments to the top cornice.

This storage unit is ideal for residential interior design projects, specifically children's bedrooms, nurseries, or creative playrooms. The playful aesthetic pairs well with modern, colourful decor schemes. Professionals searching for bespoke children's joinery or modular storage will find this asset useful for conceptualising bedroom layouts. It serves as a focal point in interior visualisations, effectively demonstrating both closed storage for clothing and open shelving for personal items, fitting seamlessly into projects targeting young families or high-end residential developments.
