Contemporary Black Wood Wall-Mounted Desk with Shelving

This contemporary 3ds Max desk features a black wood finish and integrated vertical shelving for a streamlined home office solution. This wall-mounted workstation combines a sleek writing surface with overhead cabinetry and a single open shelf. The frame is constructed from thin-profile black metal, supporting a desktop finished in a dark, textured wood grain. Above the work surface, a closed two-door cabinet provides concealed storage, while a natural-toned wood shelf sits immediately below it for easy access to frequently used items. The entire assembly creates a vertical, space-saving footprint suitable for compact interiors, effectively merging functional workspace with essential storage in a single, cohesive unit.

The download is a 17.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, utilize the existing layer structure to manage the metal frame and timber components separately. Ensure the pivot point is positioned at the base or the wall-fixing point for precise placement against vertical surfaces. Apply standard material mapping to the wood grain textures to maintain consistent scale. Because the model includes decorative accessories, these can be toggled off or hidden in the viewport if a cleaner, empty workstation is required for specific visualisation setups.

Ideal for residential home offices, studio apartments, or compact commercial workspaces, this desk serves as a primary workstation or a secondary task area. It pairs effectively with minimalist office chairs and task lighting. Professionals searching for space-efficient furniture, wall-mounted storage solutions, or modern study nooks will find this asset highly versatile. It is suitable for projects ranging from high-end residential interior design to contemporary lobby or co-working space fit-outs where floor space is at a premium and a clean aesthetic is requested.
