Contemporary Black Wood Floating Shelf Decor Set

This contemporary 3ds Max decor set features black floating wood shelves styled with curated objects including books, sculptures, and vases. This comprehensive styling set comprises multiple linear wall-mounted shelves finished in a dark, matte wood veneer. The assembly is populated with a variety of decorative elements designed to provide visual interest in interior spaces. Included are hardbound books, minimalist abstract sculptures in metallic and matte finishes, small ceramic bowls, and stylized fish figurines mounted on slender stands. The arrangement balances negative space with grouped accessories, offering a ready-to-use composition for contemporary shelving units. The items are scaled to work together, providing a cohesive look that avoids clutter while maintaining a high level of detail.

The download is a 55.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, insert these shelves as a single group or individual elements to suit your specific wall configuration. The objects are organised by layer, allowing for easy selection and adjustment of placement or rotation. Use the provided mapping coordinates to ensure the wood grain texture aligns correctly across the shelving surfaces. For optimal results, apply a subtle ambient occlusion map to the contact points where accessories meet the shelf surface to enhance depth and realism in your final render.
