About this asset

This contemporary 4-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a rectangular black metal table paired with four matching perforated chairs. This dining ensemble features a clean, industrial-inspired aesthetic with a focus on monochromatic black finishes. The rectangular table is supported by slender, straight-profile legs, providing a lightweight visual footprint. Accompanying the table are four chairs, each characterised by a distinct perforated backrest and seat pattern, which adds texture and a subtle geometric detail to the design. The set includes a full tabletop arrangement with plates, glassware, and a central vase, offering a complete, ready-to-render composition that maintains consistent proportions and a unified material palette across all elements.

The download is a 21.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the group function to manage the table and chairs as a single entity for easier placement. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the table legs to simplify alignment with floor planes. Apply custom materials to the table surface and chair frames to match your specific lighting environment, and utilise the included tableware assets as individual props by detaching them from the main scene geometry if needed.

This dining set is well-suited for modern residential dining rooms, compact urban apartment layouts, or casual cafe environments. Its neutral black finish and slim profile make it an excellent choice for staging projects where space is limited but a cohesive aesthetic is required. Architects and interior designers can use this model in renders for open-plan living areas or small hospitality fit-outs. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes, industrial-style exposed brick walls, or high-contrast contemporary apartment interiors.
